Built on over thirty-five years of experience in designing quality EEG systems for clinical applications, the new Alpha Series amplifiers incorporate a wide range of unique features not found in other amplifiers currently available for neurofeedback applications.  The Alpha Series amplifiers go beyond the concept of simple front-end encoders with features appropriate to a true clinical-quality EEG amplifier; such as the use of precision components, analog gain controls, power-line notch filtering, an internal, precision calibration system, electrode impedance testing, and integrated digital signal processing. 

The Alpha Series amplifiers are small, powerful, and easy-to-use Windows plug-and-play instruments that support a wide range of software commands through a custom Windows driver. The Alpha Series amplifiers require no batteries or external power supply as they receive all required power directly from the USB cable.  The inputs to these amplifiers are fully isolated to exceed medical device safety specifications. All TDS amplifeir products are FDA 510(k) registered and manufactured in compliance with all medical device reglations.
