Model DT-24:  24-Ch. Digital Telephonic EEG Transmitter

The model DT-24 EEG transmitter consists of a computer system equipped with high-speed modem and proprietary EEG processing interface board.  Also included is an isolated 24-channel amplifier which provides inputs for the complete 10-20 electrode array plus three additional aux. channels for EOG and EKG.  The entire system is mounted on a sturdy mobile cart which includes a high quality isolation transformer.

The DT-24 provides everything necessary for EEG monitoring at the transmitting location.  No additional hardware is required.  Either standard electrodes or an electro-Cap system may be used for patient connection.  The DT-24 then connects to any standard voice grade RJ11 phone jack in a manner similar to a standard FAX machine or modem.  The EEG is monitored on-screen simultaneously at both the transmitting and receiving locations in real-time.  The amplifier may be controlled, and electrode impedances tested, during the transmission from either location.  Patented digital processing of the EEG assures a high quality digital transmission over a wide range of varying phone line conditions.

The transmitting and receiving technicians are in constant communication through the use of typed messages.  Minimal training requirements are required for technicians at the transmitting location.  Your existing personnel become more valuable as they gain additional knowledge and skills.

If your existing EEG system requires costly Acquisition Stations and complex and expensive Ethernet connections for remote monitoring, the DT-24 offers a simple cost effective alternative.  Easily send EEG from OR, ER, ICU, NICU, or any patient room back to your lab for continuous monitoring via simple and reliable phone line connection.
